Albabici and
Fondriest are pleased to announce their sponsorship of
Walter
Giesberg, cyclist (age: 75 yrs).
Walter has
competed in cycling at seven National Senior Games. He has won
or medaled numerous times in both senior game events and USCF
events in Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. He
has been successful at the prestigious Huntsman World Senior
Games in St. George, Utah, with three 1st places, three 2nd
places and three 3rd places in his age groups. He has also
participated in the World Masters Games (UCI) in St Johann,
Austria.
Walter was born in Germany in 1936. His father
was an American citizen and his mother was German.
Persecuted by the Nazis, his parents fled from there
in 1939, immigrating to Argentina. Walter came to
the United States as a teenager and later joined the
Air Force, retiring from there as a Senior Master
Sergeant. He lives in San Antonio, TX.
